The 70mai Dash Cam Omni uses a motorized rotating camera to cover the road ahead, the sides, and the vehicle interior from one windshield-mounted unit. Its rotating lens moves across about 340°, while the camera's field of view completes the product's 360° viewing concept.

Camera Design and Controls
The Omni has a compact capsule-shaped body with a small display and a motorized camera section below it. The rotating section is what allows the camera to change its viewing direction without requiring several separately positioned cameras.
A USB-C port on one side supplies power to the dash cam.
The opposite side includes a power button and an up/down control used to move through the dash cam's menus.
The windshield mount is located at the top. Its hinged section allows the installed camera angle to be adjusted so the forward view is aligned correctly.
Mounting and Alignment
An included clear installation sticker has a circular guide that helps position the Omni mount on the inside of the windshield.
The mount includes a removable attachment section, allowing the dash cam body to be detached from the windshield mount when needed.

Temporary tape can be used as a simple visual guide for finding the center position of the windshield before attaching the mount.
Once the location is chosen, remove the protective cover from the mount adhesive before attaching it.
A small alignment mark on the mount can provide an additional reference when centering the camera.
Attach the clear sticker first, then secure the Omni mount in the intended position.
Set the Forward Angle
After mounting, check the physical camera angle. The hinged mount may still need adjustment if the camera points too far upward or downward.
Adjust the hinge until the forward-facing position is directed through the windshield as intended.
After the angle is set, route the power cable. The included plastic installation tool can help place excess cable along the edge of the vehicle headliner.

When connected to typical switched vehicle power, the Omni powers on as the vehicle supplies power and begins recording automatically. Audio recording can also be controlled from the settings; it may be disabled by default depending on the configuration.
The Omni uses built-in eMMC storage. There is no removable microSD card to take out for viewing recordings, so stored footage is normally accessed through the app using the dash cam's Wi-Fi connection.
The app can display thumbnails for recorded videos, photos, event clips, and vlog clips. Recordings can be played from the app, and supported playback views may include an information overlay showing details such as vehicle speed and detected vehicles.
Using the Rotating Camera
Voice control can trigger several of the Omni's rotating-camera actions without manually repositioning the lens. Supported commands include directing the camera toward the left or right, turning toward the cabin, taking a photo or selfie, and creating a panoramic-style vlog clip.
